With the COVID-19 restrictions, students were unable to attend classes in person. As such, the Mustique Charitable Trust (MCT) School Meal Programmes came to a halt in 11 Secondary Schools and over 300 students were unable to receive that much needed lunch.
In order to ensure that those students continued to receive proper nutrition, the Mustique Charitable Trust distributed 330 Food Hampers of groceries & toiletries to the parents or guardians in response to closure of schools due to Covid-19. Each parent/guardian received two (2) large shopping bags of groceries and toiletries valued at US$90.
Food Hampers were distributed at the following schools:
- Adelphi Secondary School
- Bethel High School
- Buccament Bay Secondary School
- Sandy Bay Secondary School
- Thomas Saunders Secondary School
- North Union Secondary School
- Petit Bordel Secondary School
- George Stephens Secondary School
- Georgetown Secondary School
