In collaboration with Roads, Building & General Services Authority (BRAGSA), we constructed 12 Shower Facilities with Wash Sinks and Water Tank Storage Platforms at 12 Schools that are used as evacuation centres. The schools were selected due to their large evacuee capacity and their large student population and includes:
- Barrouallie Government School
- West St. George Secondary School
- Layou Government School
- Fair Hall Primary School
- Buccament Bay Secondary School
- St. Clair Dacon Secondary School
- Bethel High School
- Stubbs Government School
- Lodge Village Government School
- North Union Secondary School
- C.W. Prescod Primary School
- Sandy Bay Secondary School
The objective is to provide appropriate shower facilities for evacuees in the event of future disasters.
The Mustique Charitable Trusts covered cost of materials while BRAGSA covered the cost of labour.
