On April 7 2017, the new pediatric operating room was opened at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in Kingstown, St. Vincent. Trustees and guests from Mustique were invited to the opening event and were delighted to see the brand new operating room dedicated to pediatric surgeries. The orthopedic table donated by the Trusts will enable the visiting WPP surgical teams to conduct more complex surgeries which previously had to be referred to hospitals in the USA.
Children will now have their families close by as they undergo surgeries to help them lead happy, healthy lives. Young Bless Arthur stole our hearts with her heartfelt thanks to the Trusts for their support to the project.
The Trustees congratulate WPP on its considerable achievements in caring for children with a range of medical issues and are pleased to give on-going support to this important project.
