The Trusts continue to provide support to schools in St Vincent and the Grenadines. Responding to requests for assistance to school children whose academic progress was affected by inadequate nutrition, the MCTs now pay for more than 400 children in eight schools to have a hot school lunch. Teaching staff have noted improved attendance, behaviour and grades. There has been a similar trend in schools the Trusts have provided assistance to in early childhood education and programmes to improve literacy levels. The Trusts also provide support through its Bursary Programme to 15 students at the University of the West Indies Open Campus in St Vincent.
